Aloha, I'm Kāhealani
You can call me Kāhea · Founder
If you're here, you're probably feeling stuck on something — a decision, a relationship, a pattern that keeps repeating. I offer honest intuitive information, not predictions, so you can make the choice that's yours to make.
"My name means to call upon the heavens — and that's exactly what I do in my work."
“I've been sensitive to energy and spirits since I was a kid, but I spent years burying it. Then one ordinary night, it broke the ground open — and there was no burying it again.”
Where this gift began
I've felt connected to something greater than myself since I was a kid — sensing presence, seeing what others couldn't. It runs in my family; the women on my mother's side have long carried this kind of knowing. But growing up, I didn't get to see it held gently, and for years, I did everything I could to bury my own sensitivity.
That changed when I was 24. In the middle of a season of genuinely seeking closeness with God, I had an experience I still don't have full words for — an energy moving through my chest, unconditional love washing over me in a way I'd never felt before or since. Everything I'd spent years burying broke wide open that night, and there was no burying it again.
It took about seven years to learn how to hold what had opened, and that learning happened alongside my training in lomilomi, where I found a community of healers and practitioners who taught me to use this gift in service of others instead of fearing it.
I've grown to believe healing works best when it honors both what science teaches us and what our intuition already knows. My path here hasn't been a straight line — years in traditional Hawaiian bodywork and healing, a bachelor's degree in pre-med, applying to Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine school, and finally, a health crisis that took both bodywork and medical school off the table. I still knew I could help people; I just had to find a new way to do it. So, I began offering intuitive readings, and it worked out. I also took classes to deepen my understanding of tarot, a tool that's been refined for centuries and deserves real study.
That same pull toward both worlds is why I'm now pursuing my Master's in Social Work, working toward licensure as an LCSW — two distinct practices, each held to its own standards, both grown from the same commitment to helping people see themselves more clearly.
My faith runs through all of it. I believe deeply in God, and I hold space for the idea that wisdom shows up across many traditions, not just one. Tarot has never been the source for me — it's one tool I use, among others, to help translate what I'm already sensing.
