What is tarot?

Tarot is a conversation with your soul

Tarot is a sacred tool for self-reflection, spiritual insight, and intuitive guidance.

Contrary to common misconceptions, tarot doesn’t predict a fixed futureβ€”instead, it opens a dialogue between your conscious mind, your higher self, and the unseen spiritual realms that support your growth.

At The Intuitive Call, I use tarot as a heart-centered modality to help you explore your emotions, uncover hidden blocks, and receive aligned messages to support your next step.

How Tarot Works

The tarot deck is a symbolic system made up of 78 cards, split into two main categories:

  • Major Arcana (22 cards): Represent life’s significant spiritual lessons and soul growth.

  • Minor Arcana (56 cards): Reflect the everyday experiences, emotions, and patterns we navigate.

Each card holds imagery, symbols, and archetypes that can be interpreted intuitively and through traditional meanings. The cards act like a mirror, reflecting your inner truth and illuminating the path forward.

✨ You already hold the answers withinβ€”tarot simply helps you hear them more clearly.

The Role of Spreads

In a reading, I use specific card spreadsβ€”layouts that provide a structured way to interpret your question or situation. Spreads help us explore the past, present, future, and deeper energies at play.

I most often work with the Horseshoe Spread, a powerful layout that offers insight across seven key positions:

  1. The Past

  2. The Present

  3. Near Future

  4. You (your energy towards the situation)

  5. Energy of the Environment/External Influences

  6. Hopes/Fears

  7. Likely long-term Outcome

This spread offers a wide-lens view of your situation while allowing space for intuitive guidance to flow through each position.

What a Tarot Reading Offers

  • Insight into your current emotional or energetic state

  • Clarity on a decision or life transition

  • Validation of your inner knowing

  • Energetic attunement and spiritual support

  • A safe space for soulful reflection and intuitive guidance
