My Philosophy

Why I say trajectory, not fate

Years ago, I sat down for a reading from someone I trusted. I was young, and what I got instead of guidance was a verdict. I was told I'd end up a single mother and that my child would grow up to hate me. No softness. No "here's what you can do with this." Just a sentence handed to me like a life sentence.

For a long time, I carried that reading like it was true. And for a period, some of it did happen. I was a single mother while going to school full time. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done.

But here's what that reading left out: living through it also built a resilience in me I didn't know I had. Today, I'm not a single mother. I have a close, loving relationship with my child, and I'm in a romantic relationship that is genuinely loving and fulfilling. None of it turned out the way I was told it had to.

I spent years working through the weight of that one sentence before I understood what actually happened. I wasn't fated to an unhappy life. I made choices, over and over, that shaped what came next.

The reading gave me a fate.
What I actually needed was information I could do something with.
FATE: ONE FIXED LINE TRAJECTORY: A PATH YOU SHAPE, CHOICE BY CHOICE
Each gold point is a moment you get to choose differently.

Instead of a verdict, here's what that could have looked like instead.

Here's what I'm seeing. What's happening for you around this area of your life right now? Does this resonate? Your fears may stem from a place of feeling unloved. Let's look at a few things you can start working on, so you can move toward what you really want: a fulfilling, loving family, built the way you choose, not the way you're told it has to be.

Maybe I still would have gone through being a single mother for a while, and grown through it the way I did. But imagine someone holding a candle to that moment, instilling hope and empowerment instead of a verdict.

That's the difference I build my work around now. I will never tell you that you're locked into an outcome, good or bad. What I can do is help you see what's really in front of you, the patterns, the energy, the things quietly asking for your attention, so you can make the choice that's actually yours to make.

A reading with me isn't a prediction. It's clarity. You leave with something to work with, not a sentence to carry.
